Sunday March 17th Copenhagen International School will host a classical music concert played by world-renowned Danish musicians including David Danholt, Charlotte Thaning and Trine Bastrup Møller
The event is organised with the help of Charity Club at Copenhagen International School, and all the proceeds will go to the Talented Women’s Club in Ghana.
About the performers:
David Danholt has given many performances in Europe and the USA, where he won the 2014 International Wagner competition in Seattle, having tackled many challenging roles from different parts of the extensive tenor repertoire.
Charlotte Thaning is part of the Eskær Trio, which has given performances all over Denmark, as well as in Europe, USA and Japan. The trio has also won the prize for “most outstanding CD of the month” on the string magazine The Strad. (Photo: David Danholt and Charlotte Thaning).
Trine Bastrup Møller has performed extensively at the Danish Royal Opera House, and along with having sung many different roles, has also won the Lucille Graham Award and the Aksel Schiøtz Prize among others.
Reinosuke Kusano is in Grade 11 at CIS, and is currently studying the violin with Michael Malmgren from the Royal Danish Academy of Music. He has won 1st Prize in Berlingske Klassisk Musikkonkurrence for the past two years.
