We need fewer plastic bottles and more drinking fountains
At the City Hall, we are in the process of financial negotiations, and one of Radikale Venstre's proposals is to put money aside for more drinking fountains in Copenhagen.
The drink items are partly a much needed service to Copenhagen's many exerciseists, who in the summer heat can get a cold tear of water during the run. But it is especially a low-cost way to support the transition away from the polluting plastic bottles. By ensuring that it is easy to think of cold tap water around the city, we can reduce disposable plastic packaging for the benefit of the environment.
We suggest setting up 20 water posts on some of the most visited parks, squares and squares in the city, and I hope that we will succeed in getting political majority.
